Europe's largest complex of medieval monumental bronze objects is made up of around 30 doors cast from various copper alloys. These doors, most of which are located in Italy, date from the 11th-12th centuries and are the epitome of medieval metal craftsmanship. This is the first book in English on the medieval monumental bronze doors of Europe.
