Recently, biomass and organic wastes have begun to be produced in huge amounts. The inappropriate disposal of biomass and organic wastes can lead to serious environmental problems. In contrast, the effective treatment and refinery of biomass and organic wastes can produce biomaterials, biofuels, and biochemicals.
