Systematics and Effectiveness of Public Authoritative Monitoring Procedures Based on Selected Reference Areas«: Public authoritative monitoring procedures promise to improve administrative procedures, especially in the environmental field, by checking whether administrative decisions prove their worth in implementation. The study analyses the legal framework of such procedures and systematizes the reference regulations from SEA law, construction law, food law and genetic engineering law. It assesses the effectiveness and legal framework on the basis of empirical findings and legal protection options.
