»The Privilege Against Self-Incrimination and the Fight Against Doping in Sport«: Top athletes suspected of doping are confronted with two prosecution regimes. On the one hand, criminal procedural law is characterized by the privilege against selfincrimination. On the other hand, sports association law contains many regulations that force athletes to cooperate. It regularly forces the athlete to produce self-incriminating evidence. Nevertheless, the regulations do not violate German law. However, some of the evidence based on them may not be used in criminal proceedings.
