»Electronic Marketplaces - Intermediaries without Product Responsibility?«: Until now, the responsibility of electronic marketplaces has been discussed in only a few areas of law. Based on the existing discussions on trademark law this book discusses the marketplace operator's responsibility for defective products in the areas of contract law, product safety law and tort liability under the existing legislative framework. In a second step, it makes proposals to adapt future legislation to the specifics of electronic marketplaces.
