The purpose of this historical narrative is to provide a description of the past- and present-day structure of allergy and immunology, faculty, fellows, researchers, and staff who have contributed their skills to provide vigor and to advance the academic, research, teaching, and clinical excellence of the specialty. The preeminent reputation of the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine Allergy and Immunology is a combined effort of all individuals who have previously or continue to work there. The Division of Allergy and Immunology, Department of Internal Medicine faculty and researchers have trained hundreds of physicians, graduates, post-graduates, and exchange visitors.
